At our Member's Meeting, our Youth Board presented two amazing charities to us - one of our hardest votes to date!
Our first team introduced us to The Shelter Project, an organization that seeks to build community relief and resilience and provide emergency support to those who most need it in war-torn Ukraine.
Then our second team presented Mercy Ships, an organization that brings state-of-the-art floating hospitals to the underserved countries of the world. Volunteer surgeons and medical professionals provide lifesaving surgical procedures in a safe, sterile environment.
It was a close vote, but Mercy Ships won the day!
